Laura Ingalls-Wilder

Growing up watching "Little House On The Prairie" I was happy to find out that when we moved to SD we now only living 8 miles away from the original homestead of the Ingalls (Laura wrote quite a few of her books about living on the prairie in De Smet, SD). My youngest daughter tried out for the pageant this year (it is actually a play now but before the actors would mime to the audio being played, hence the pageant) and got the part to play Grace. So far she is doing a great job remembering her lines and no stage fright (unlike her mom) and she looks forward to when the play is done at night so she can sign autographs for people all across the world that come to see the pageant. Hopefully she will continue on in the pageant each year since she is having so much fun! Just wanted to share :)
